Toolkit for reflection on human rights in the context of social care

This toolkit developed by Dr Caroline Green, the British Institute of Human Rights, Professor Belinda Dewar and Dr Edel Roddy includes three free online and printable resources (Personality Test, Who am I? Creative Page, Human Rights Story Dice) to start reflection and conversations on human rights in care homes and human rights in social care more generally. The ‘Fair Approach’ – putting a human rights based approach into practice in health and social care settings

The Scottish Human Rights Commission developed this approach and materials to support people working in health and social care to translate human rights into practice. Their ‘Care About Rights’ Website (click on the title above to be taken directly to these resources) offers a wealth of resources to learn about human rights, human rights and supporting people living with dementia and of course the ‘FAIR approach’.
